Their first destination is the most famous Greek city of all, Athens, the birthplace of Democracy. From there, they embark to Ithaca, home of the epic Homeric hero Odysseus. Their adventure ends at Mount Olympus, the mountain where the Greek gods were said to dwell and the location of the first Olympic games. In the ruins of the past they find the seeds of modern civilization, in an ancient culture whose mythology, literature, and philosophy is still admired today. This shows how dedicated he is to his work as a photographer. In the episodes, he goes through dangerous, nearly impossible tasks to get a single image of a spectacular landscape. One episode in specific he had to go through quick sand to get an image he wanted. He then had to swim back to his boat in 50 degree water. Surely he is willing to go to any limit to get the image he wants. He has been to volcanoes and snow-covered mountains, along with everything in between.
