Norman Steinberg co-wrote Blazing Saddles and then wrote My Favorite Year, which starred Mark Linn-Baker (before he did "Perfect Strangers" on TV). Linn-Baker acts and directs, while Steinberg is starting a Master's program in comedy writing at LIU.POLINA & FIRST MOVEMENT: Classically-trained-pianist-from-Russia turned Park-Slope-based-singer/songwriter (Polina) forms an electronica duo (First Movement) with an African-American guy from the Bronx (Mark Alston).
