Jackie performs a comedy magic act. Reginald Van Gleason III performs with the ridiculous musicians at a charity bazaar. The June Taylor Dancers perform two numbers. Clem Finch (Carney) and Charlie Bratton (Gleason) appear in another lunchroom sketch. Gibbs sings "I'll Always Be in Love With You." Wilson recognizes Gleason for his charity work with an amputees foundation.

In the Kramdens' debut titled "Bread", an argument starts when Ralph comes in from work and Alice wants him go back out and buy some bread. The fight climaxes when Ralph tosses a canister of flour out the window. Moments later, an unhappy policeman covered in the white powder (Art Carney) appears at the Kramdens' door.
