Celebrity Big Brother (Australia)

Show Summary

Australia's version of the UK's spin-off from popular reality show, Big Brother. Following the same premise of Big Brother, with a group of housemates locked up for 23 days, being filmed 24 hours a day with no access to the outside world. Hosted by Gretel Killeen and using the same house as Australia's 2002 series, a portion of the eviction money raised $755,000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation and Ronald McDonald House. It aired in 2002 and had some well-known Australian celebrities including well-known and controversial boxer Anthony Mundine & footballer Warwick Capper. The winner of the series was Melbourne musician and TV host Dylan Lewis. Former Wheel of Fortune host Adriana Xenides, Home and Away star Kimberley Cooper, Big Brother 1 favourite Sara Marie Fedele, model Imogen Bailey, disc jockey Kyle Sandilands, comedian Gabby Millgate, Sydney drag queen Vanessa Wagner and TV personality Red Symons are the other celebrity housemates.

  • Worst show ever thanks to good old Capper.

Warwick Capper what the heck were they thinking. This is like one of the worst shoes ever. I don't know why i even bothered. And Anthony Mundine What the?? I'm mean he is easy on the eye but thats it,between Capper and Mundine there was barely a brain cell between them. The only real celebrity I saw was Sarah-Maree and even still she isn't a real celebrity. No one even knew who Imogen Bailey was until that show. Dylan was great though. Please don't bring back celebrity big bro, or at least get some people in who are worth watching.moreless
