Goof: While Godfrey and Rachel are going out on their Mission, a shot of the Base Camp is shown, but the people in it are not Rachel and Godfrey's teammates. Instead, Willie Garson is shown getting his camera rig on, with Ernie Hudson sitting down behind him. Those celebrities appear in the sixth CPP episode "Wooden Lucy".
Also Appearing:
Katherine Kirkwood - Former Nurse at "Warson Asylum"
Dr Robert Ward - Former Doctor at "Warson Asylum"
Clayton Finley, Jr MD - Head and Neck Surgeon
Ethan Zohn and Traci Bingham are both from Massachusetts towns within 100 miles of Norwich, CT, the location for this episode's haunting.
Traci: (hysterically trying to "make nice" with a malevolent spirit) Dude, Pearl, I'd love to take you shopping! We'll go to Louis Vuitton, Rodeo Drive, we'll get a margarita, too!
Tony: (putting on his camera rig) Got some serious weight going on here. You could do lunges with it. (he starts working out)
Ethan: He's, like, in his head he's thinking, 'How can I make this into an exercise machine?' (everybody laughs)
Rachel: Actually, this week I was hanging out with my kids on the beach, and now I'm... looking for ghosts. It's weird. I'm crazy, I am NUTS!
Traci Bingham: I don't have a really good feeling about this investigation. I don't know, but I'm getting...the hair on my arm, which I don't have 'cause I got it lasered, is standing up on my arm right now.
Godfrey: The black person is known to not mess with spirits, you know, because we're the first ones in the horror movies, we're the first ones to die. I will not. I will survive this. You understand?
Godfrey: The problem is, everybody always attacks this paranormal stuff with all this seriousness. I'm gonna balance it out. I'm not gonna take myself too seriously.
The location referred to in this episode as the Warson Asylum for the Criminally Insane is actually Norwich State Hospital in Norwich, CT. The series would return to this location in the fourth episode, "Mad Ray". The former hospital has also been investigated by TAPS in their sixth season Ghost Hunters episode "Norwich State".
Godfrey: Underground tunnels, what, am I Harriet Tubman?!
Harriet Tubman may have hidden in a few tunnels in her time, but the former slave and famous "conductor" of the Underground Railroad generally led people to freedom above ground. Tubman was also known for assisting the Union army as a scout, and was the first woman to lead an armed raid in the Civil War against the Combahee River plantations in South Carolina. Later in life, she was an activist for women's suffrage.
