What was up with Traci?!

OKay so this wasn't as good as the first episode, but what really got on my nerves, was Traci and her constant freak outs!!! What was up with her?! Everyone else was calm and she was just.....ARGH!
That place was creepy alright though! I'll agree with that! Something chasing them down the hallway did scare the crap out of me, I was like 'Run you dorks! Run!'

I thought the first episode was fantastic. It was so much like MTV's Fear, which is a series I have missed since it was prematurely cancelled, and although I'd prefer to see such a series with average people rather than celebrities, beggars can't be choosers and the first episode was so enjoyable that I actually watched it again several times this week in reruns.

I was quite disappointed with this episode, though. I thought Traci Bingham acted ridiculously throughout the episode. Maybe she was really that scared, and maybe not, but if she was faking it for the camera then her overacting was simply out of hand. And if she wasn't...then I have to say that any of the other cast members would have been perfectly justified in slapping her to calm her down. I\'ve watched shows like this, from MTV's Fear to scariest Places on Earth, and certainly many of the participants have obviously been scared, but she was so over-the-top that it actually became distracting, and took away from the enjoyment of the show.

I also find it annoying that the producers see fit to constantly insert effects, such as throwing in pictures of Nell, in the middle of these stunts. I really think it takes away from what is happening, and I'd rather just see what is happening as it is happening.

I also keep thinking more and more that the screams they keep hearing are just piped in special effects. It all just seems too "Carnival Haunted House"-like. Really, I think this is a great series, and I'd like to see it last, but I really need to think they need to tone down the theatrics and special effects, because it's taking away from the "believability" of the series.moreless

  Harriet Tubman may have hidden in a few tunnels in her time, but the former slave and famous "conductor" of the Underground Railroad generally led people to freedom above ground. Tubman was also known for assisting the Union army as a scout, and was the first woman to lead an armed raid in the Civil War against the Combahee River plantations in South Carolina. Later in life, she was an activist for women's suffrage.
