During all of this sequence of chaotic events, Hacker somehow had the leisure to plot each asteroid fragment and download the data onto a disk. When did he have the time to do this?
The idea of Uniborg's rule over Dominion is very appealing, but the way the time was shown really doesn't work. When Ace and Jake visit Hacker and terror in the rehab center, Hacker's cat is just a kitten. At the end of the visit, the Centurions are called to Fire Castle, and Jake gets a broken leg. The next thing we see is Jake in a hospital room in a cast, watching a newscast. Terror is watching the same newscast, and Hacker's kitten is now full grown. Either that cat grew up virtually overnight, or it takes many months to recover from a broken leg (Jake) and the bends (Max).
Chameleons don't have stingers.
Crystal speaks with Max's voice when he requests Depth Charger!
Why is there a robotic squid along with a body of water inside the computer? Just to give Max something to do?
It's extremely implausible that the authorities would simply let Mako go after Max was arrested. Even if Max's criminal record was falsified, Mako's should be well known enough that he should still have been imprisoned rather than let loose.
During one beam-down sequence, Ace and Jake's voices are swapped when they say "Power Extreme!"
Just before Fireforce is beamed-down, it is Wild Weasel that is shown in the beaming chamber on Skyvault.
In one scene, Doc Terror talks with Hacker's voice.
This episode gives off a lot of hints that Crystal is attracted to Ace
Ace comments that the ore ship makes a lot of noise. He is on the surface of the Moon at the time. Vacuums anyone?
Just after Ace receives Orbital Interceptor, he uses one of Skyknight's missiles (that was not beamed-down) to shoot down a Strafer.
Sealab is destroyed in this episode, along with the factory that makes the Centurions' weapon systems. So where are they made after this?
Skyvault's computer voice sounds like a normal voice when
Skybolt is beamed-down.
When Jake tells Crystal to beam down Hornet and Skyknight Ace is given Skybolt instead.
When Max breaks into General Amid's office, he's wearing a green coverall and brown boots, with his Exoframe underneath. He tears off the coverall when he needs his weapons system. But later, when he takes off his Exoframe to toss it at the giant sandworm, the green coverall re-appears...it was under the Exoframe. Three layers of clothing???
It is unlikely that Orbital Interceptor was suitable for submersible operation. Submarines are built to withstand pressure much greater on the outside, while orbital vehicles are expected to withstand pressure working form the inside, in the reverse direction. Building a system that could function in both environments would be an engineering nightmare, if not impossible.
Although never suggested, rumours persist that the sealab featured in this episode is none other than the one from the classic "sealab" cartoon. Since Centurions and Sealab were both created by Hanna-Barbera, it is a distinct possibility. Then again it could be an "in-joke" by the writers..
When the Centurions defeat the cyber-squid, it retreats, probably back to its ocean domain. Why would the Centurions be so reckless as to allow a dangerous mutation to escape, where it has a chance to again attack Sealab?
This goof actually applies to the whole series, but was seen with this episode first; Doc Terror's airship is red in the opening animation, but green in the series.
