Pas De Calais region in the north of France. Just under an hour from the channel tunnel. Dining Room - Richard and Caroline Poole from Barnet in 30 Rue Depue Marie. Richard is a chartered surveyor. Caroline is a physiotherapist. They have three young daughters. Sitting Room - David and Jo Nichols in #12. They have been married for 2 years. David is a self-confessed tidiness freak. Laurence lends a decorating hand to the dining room. The paint is orange. They put up artex on a couple small walls to appear like stone. He also paints stencil on the walls and do a mural on the table top (they were told not to touch). They go for a Louis the 14th look. Linda Barker is in the sitting room. She reveals a yellow color, then takes Richard off to go shopping, while Andy and Caroline are left to paint. They paint trees on the walls all around the room. They put down a slate bordered wood floor. They create a shelf with a wine rack and glass bricks. They go for a very outdoorsy-garden look.moreless
