71 year old Spanish artist Marta Herrero and daughter Clementina would like a lighter brighter dining room. Marta's other daughter - Marta - and friend Felix would like her living room done. It hasn't been painted in 20 years. (Note: At first, Felix was a family friend, now, he and Clementina are engaged to be married) Graham Wynne lends a helping hand in the dining room. First task is to take down the border on the top of the wall. He also breaks out a type of plaster/texture to the walls. They do a tile mosaic on the fireplace and create a new mantel. They cover the existing chair seats in seagrass. Linda Barker is in the living room. The colors for this room are aubergine, orange, and yellow. Very crazy, Very bright. They cover the alcove walls by the fireplace in a copper leafing. With Andy's help, Linda create a new light fixture with a bowl and a sun cutout. Linda also creates a sunburst mirror and paints it copper too.moreless
