East Yorkshire In this episode we have 2 vicars. Father Mike Burley and Daughter Irene would like the kitchen at St. Michael's Vicarage changed. Reverend Sue Sharif and husband Gary at St. Hilda's would also like the kitchen done. Michael Jewitt is in St. Michael's kitchen. They uncover what used to be a fireplace and will try to convert that into a hiding hole for the family dog. The colors Michael has chosen are pale green, sage green, cream and a deep red. Andy creates barn doors for the entrance to the kitchen and mimics that look onto the cabinet doors. After painting the doors, they sand the edges a bit to give it a distressed look. They make a clock out of a collander and use wooden spoons for cabinet pulls. Linda Barker is going for a retro 50s look in St. Hilda's kitchen. The colors are icy blue and cream. The team likes the blue, but not the cream. They use a new technique on the cabinets that sprays silver metal flakes on it to give it a fresh new look. They fake frost the windows and use bathmats for seat cusions.moreless
