Josie Lloyd (who portrays Rachel Goodman in this episode) is the daughter of famed actor/director/producer Norman Lloyd who was a longtime collaborator with Orson Welles and Alfred Hitchcock. One was of his most famous television roles was as Dr. Daniel Auschlander on ST. ELSEWHERE.
Channing star, Henry Jones, would again work with James Caan in 1970, portraying his father in the Warner Brothers film adaptation of the John Updike novel "Rabbit Run".
Watch closely for 60's starlet, Beverly Adams, who has a cameo as the "1st Coed" in this episode. She also had walk-ons in the Elvis movies "Roustabout" and "Girl Happy" as well as the beach party opus "How To Stuff a Wild Bikini". She was later married to Vidal Sassoon 1966 to 1980.
Continuity gaffe: Sophie opens the trunk on her old convertible in order to retrieve tools so that Howe can effect repairs under the hood. Professor Howe later closes the hood but no one ever closes the trunk. Sophie roars off with the trunk mysteriously secured.
