Chaotic: M'arrilian Invasion is a 2006 animated series produced by 4kids based on the popular Danish collectible card game. It tells the story of two friends, Tom Majors (Jason Anthony Griffith) and Kazdan Kalinkas (Darren Dunstan), who play the Chaotic Card/Online game. Far from an ordinary game, Chaotic actually transports the users into another dimension. In the game world, they explore two realms, Chaotic and Perim, also known as the overworld and the underworld. There, they do battle with mysterious creatures, all while seeking to understand the legendary Chaotic Code - the life-force of the Chaotic realm, which constantly changes and is never predictable. A total of 79 episodes were created over three seasons, each one roughly twenty minutes long. The series, while produced in the west, is animated in the style of Japanese anime.
