Adventurer Charley Boorman sets off on his most daring adventure yet--ditching his trusty motorbike to travel over 20,000 miles, through 25 countries from his home town Wicklow County, Ireland to Sydney, Australia, by any means. Avoiding commercial airlines wherever possible, Boorman explores the different ways to travel over land, sea and air. He uses more than 100 different modes of transport, including container ships, dug-out canoes, solar cars and an elephant. Boorman's first travelling documentary was with his friend, Ewan McGregor, on a motorbike journey from London to New York that created the 2004 show, Long Way Round. Charley Boorman: Ireland to Sydney By Any Means is also known simply as By Any Means.moreless

After completing Long Way Round and Long Way Down with his good friend Ewan Mcgregor, he then competed in The Dakar Rally, Charlie takes on a new adventure, to travel over 20,000 miles, through 25 countries By Any Means of transport, avoiding commercial airlines at all costs unless there is no other way of reaching a destination!

After watching the above shows, i became a really big fan of Charlie Boorman, the way he interacts during his journeys and his cheeky sense of humour make him unique in my opinion during his documentaries, i loved this show from start to finish, and i look forward to his next adventure, a new one with Ewan Mcgregor would be awesome!moreless
