Charley Boorman: Ireland to Sydney By Any Means

Show Summary

Adventurer Charley Boorman sets off on his most daring adventure yet--ditching his trusty motorbike to travel over 20,000 miles, through 25 countries from his home town Wicklow County, Ireland to Sydney, Australia, by any means. Avoiding commercial airlines wherever possible, Boorman explores the different ways to travel over land, sea and air. He uses more than 100 different modes of transport, including container ships, dug-out canoes, solar cars and an elephant. Boorman's first travelling documentary was with his friend, Ewan McGregor, on a motorbike journey from London to New York that created the 2004 show, Long Way Round. Charley Boorman: Ireland to Sydney By Any Means is also known simply as By Any Means.
