      • "Angel in Hiding" originally aired as a two-hour episode. In syndication, it is usually split into a 2-part episode with some footage removed.

      • The 3-month actors' strike of 1980 delayed production on Charlie's Angels. As a result, this episode, which serves as the season 5 premiere, did not air until November 30, 1980. This 2-hour episode, along with the next episode, "To See an Angel Die", was originally part of a three-hour "Night with the Angels" extravaganza.

      • After being nestled in Wednesday nights for the first 4 seasons, Charlie's Angels moves from the Wednesday 9pm time slot to the Sunday 8pm time slot beginning with this episode.
