    Cheryl Ladd was born Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor in Huron, South Dakota on July 12, 1951. She began her career singing with a band called The Music Shop Band during High School. When the band broke up in Los Angeles she stayed on to pursue my personal dream to become an actress.
    Her first professional break was singing back-up on the cartoon series Josie and the Pxxxxcats. Then it was on to commercials, which led to the 1973 film, Jamaica Reef. She met her first husband, David Ladd, in 1971. They were married in 1973 (and divorced in 1980). The two welcomed daughter Jordan on Jan. 14, 1975. The Charlie's Angels series was her first big TV hit in 1977. Cheryl replaced fan favorite Farrah Fawcett. She was immediately accepted by the series fans and ratings continued to soar. The series ended in 1981. Cheryl also has a beautiful singing voice and in 1978 she released her first album, Cheryl Ladd. Dance Forever followed in 1979. Both albums were hits. Hopefully she will sing again! Cheryl met her husband Brian Russell and the two were married in 1981. He and Cheryl collaborated on a children's book, The Adventures of Little Nettie Windship, which was published in 1998. She is also an avid golfer with a 17 handicap and 15.2 index, and is recognized as a leading female celebrity golfer. She also serves as an ambassador for the Buick Golf Program. Cheryl participates in four major Buick Sponsored PGA Tournaments, and she also plays in various pro am tourneys to help raise money for charity - not to mention the First Annual Cheryl Ladd Pro AM. This got her the attention needed and she got roles in films such as, The Beastmaster (1982) (and posed for the cover and an inside spread in "Playboy" to promote the film), the title role in Sheena (1984) and as a "Bond" girl in A View to a Kill (1985). He soon found out that he had exceptional amounts of natural ability, and his ambition to become a famous Hollywood actor developed from there.
