    • At the end of the episode, most of the guests at P3 are shown wearing some sort of costume because of it being Halloween. However, the brief clip of the entrance of P3 shows the heads of people standing in line outside of the club in normal clothes. No hats, masks, or anything Halloween oriented.
    • If Cole was so intent on destroying the Halliwell line, why would he travel back in time to help kidnap the baby so she could be raised evil? Wouldn't it just have been easier to go back and try to kill Charlotte, therefore destroying the Halliwell line before it began and completely shifting the balance from good to evil?
    • After being shot by Darryl, the wounded Grimlock says that at least they can not die, being that they are already dead. Aside from the question about why he even said that considering Demons can not be killed by a gun shot wound. But why was he even wounded? In the season one episode that they originally appeared in, Andy shot the Grimlock several times and he didn't even flinch!
    • While it is understandable that Leo would want to stay behind and do battle with the Grimlocks in order to prevent them from harming anyone else. Why wouldn't he orb Darryl out of the house then go back and battle the Grimlocks? At the very least he could have suggested it?
    • Why were the sisters so quick to let Micah be killed? There was no reason that they could not have at least tried to save him and still had time to save Charlotte. Not to mention that since his crime was freeing them,wouldn't they even stop to consider that his death was a change in history and that now he may not be able to save some one who he originally had and therefore changing history!
    • TRIVIA: This is the third time that the girls travel in time and the fourth for Phoebe who technically went back to the 20's as herself in her previous life.
    • TRIVIA: The song that is played at the club is Breed by Snake River Conspiracy. The band has two more songs playing throughout the episode - You And Your Friend and Somebody Hates You.
    • Here and in other episodes the sisters go back in time and find they cannot use their powers, their reasoning being that they do not exist yet and so their powers don't either. Yet later in the series Chris (Piper's future son) returns and travels back in time and has all his powers, yet he doesn't exist at that time.
    • Grimlocks Trivia-- In this episode after the Grimlocks are vanquished Daryl does not regain his vision, but in season one when they first appeared and were vanquished the people regained their vision.
    • TRIVIA: In this episode Prue says "Who was that masked man?", and Phoebe later said it in the season 5 episode Witches in Tights.
    • After giving away all the candy to the trick-or-treaters, Darryl looks around the sitting room where the coffee table is visibly unharmed. Darryl then falls on the coffee table and when he hits the ground the coffee table is on the floor broken before he actually hits it.
    • TRIVIA: We learn that Cole's demon name is Belthazor.
    • TRIVIA: Charlotte gives birth to Melinda Warren, The Charmed Ones ancestor and originator of their magical lineage, on October 31, 1670. The baby is delivered by Piper.
    • TRIVIA: This is one of two episodes in the series that celebrates Halloween. The other one is the season 8 episode "Kill Billie: Vol. 1".
    • Why were the Charmed Ones surprised that they did not have their powers? They should have known from previous experience (like "That '70s Episode") that they do not have their powers when they travel back in time.
    • If the Charmed Ones didn't have their powers because they didn't exist yet, then why did Cole because he didn't exist then either?
    • TRIVIA: The letter "C" made out of the apple does show Phoebe's true loves - it refers to Cole up until season 5 and Coop in season 8.
    • The last time the Grimlocks were vanquished, the potion was green and it was all liquid (no herbs or anything in it) but this time, there are herbs in the potion Leo is making.
    • How can the Grimlocks come back "through the veil" if all demons (that don't have souls) burn up in the wasteland after they are vanquished?
    • When Leo orbed in behind the Grimlocks to throw the vanquishing potion on them, why did he draw attention to himself? The Grimlocks didn't see him until he said "hey" and if he didn't say that then he could have vanquished both Grimlocks easily.
    • TRIVIA: The last time the Grimlocks were seen on Charmed was in the season 1 episode "Out of Sight".
    • The Grimlocks state that as they are already dead, they cannot be killed. However, they are afraid to attack Darryl and Leo whilst they are making the potion in the kitchen unless they get shot again. Also Leo and Prue do manage to vanquish them at the end of the episode. If they are only back for Halloween, then why do they not disappear when the clock strikes 12?
    • When Piper reads the time off from her watch it is wrong - her watch would be set for San Francisco time and the events take place in Virginia.
    • When the sisters are in the cave the first time and are talking with their backs to Eva, Piper is in the middle. She remains there while the camera is at that angle, but when the camera angle is from behind, and they start talking to Eva, Phoebe is in the middle.
    • When the Grimlocks ring the doorbell, Phoebe goes to answer the door carrying a plate of caramel apples, but when she gets to the hall tree in the foyer, she sets down a plate of caramel apples AND a plate of caramel corn before opening the door.
    • When the girls are taken "hostage" in the woods, the bags put over Prue's and Piper's heads come from behind, but the one that's put over Phoebe's head comes from the side. They would have seen the "kidnapper" beforehand.
    • When Eve's holding the apple, she puts the leaf on it, in the first shot, it's small, then in the next shot, it's bigger and there's a black mark or something on the apple, next to the leaf. In the next shot, the leaf's still big, but the mark is gone, except for a tiny smudge where the black mark was.
    • When the girls were first in the cave, Phoebe had her hair down. When Eva put the hat on her, her hair was in plaits. When did she have time to put her hair up?
    • When Phoebe is holding the picture of the witch it is facing right, when the camera goes back to her, it is facing left.
    • When the Grimlocks are attacking Piper and Phoebe, Prue moves her arm to the right to move the Grimlocks away, but the Grimlocks move to the left, to the living room instead to the right, to the wall.

    • Cole: Time is on my side.
      This is a line often used by demon character Azazel in film Fallen(1998), starting Denzel Washington, as an allusion to the demon's imo Washington, when singing the Roling Stone's songrtality.
    • Phoebe: I hate to break up the balcony scene, Romeo...
      In the William Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet, the balcony scene is when Romeo approaches Juliet and makes his feelings known to her.
    • Prue: Who was that masked man?
      This is a reference to the TV series The Lone Ranger, that ran through the 1940s to the 1950s. This was a famous line from the show.
    • Darryl's use of the flash-bulb to stun the Grimlock recalls the struggle between James Stewart and Raymond Burr's characters in the 1955 film "Rear Window", directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
    • Prue: Which is why you're dressed as mistress of the dark? and Phoebe: Ugh, eternally Elvira.
      These quotes and Phoebe's costume are references to Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Elvira is a character originally from the 1981 TV show "Elvira's Movie Macabre" played by Cassandra Peterson. She hosted horror films in a comedic way and become one of the most popular cult talk show hosts.
    • Title: All Halliwell's Eve
      This is a reference to the holiday All Hallow's Eve, more commonly known as Halloween.
    • Prue: Hey, are you a good witch or a bad witch?
      This is a reference to the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz". Specifically after Dorothy's house lands on the wicked witch of the east, Glenda asks her "are you a good witch or a bad witch?"
    • Piper: We're not in Kansas anymore.
      This is a reference to a well-known quote from the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz".
