  • Quotes

    • Paige (talking about the Mullen brothers): They're dicks.
      Kyle: Haha, dicks.
Paige: No, like private eyes, detectives, they wrote themselves in.

    • Piper: You be creative and just keep Paige and Brody alive.
Phoebe: Oh, okay, right. No pressure!

    • Leo: He's setting them up.
Phoebe: What do you expect? It's called Crossed, Double Crossed!

    • Piper: Lana and the Fed?
Phoebe: At least he's not calling him Kyle. Know what I mean?

    • Piper: I was talking about the gnome, not the husband.
Phoebe: Oh, right. Of course. Um well according to the book they don't have any natural enemies, but as a species they tend to piss people off.
Piper: But you said he was shot. Who would shoot a gnome? And why is the 'G' silent?
Phoebe: That's a really good question. I think the fact that he was shot in Magic School is what worries Paige the most.
Piper: I don't blame her. The boys aren't still there, are they?
Phoebe: No, she brought them back. They're taking their naps.
Piper: I'm just getting really tired of this.
Phoebe: Oh, don't worry we'll find out who killed him.
Piper: No, not the gnome, the husband.
Phoebe: Oh, I can't keep up.

    • Phoebe: Okay, let's make this fast. I got a city of lonely people and I'm playing Cupid! Oh Ms Donovan, why are you crying?
Paige: It's one of our teachers. He...
Phoebe: Oh, did he break your heart? Well you called the right person. I can handle this.
      Paige: No...
Phoebe: Shh! Cupid works alone. Now did he hurt you? I know, I know, it hurts. But you can't give up on love. It could be the biggest mistake you ever made. Now I could fix you up with one of my readers, because I'm doing a series in my newspaper where I'm playing matchmaker and I actually have one in mind for you.
Paige: Wait! He didn't break her heart. He was murdered.
      Phoebe: Oh.
      Ms Donovan: It was awful.
Phoebe(to Paige): Why didn't you tell me that?
Paige: I tried to, but Cupid shushed me!

    • Kyle: Whoa, whoa. Where you goin'?
Eddie: Well, it's just up around the corner. We can get there on foot.
Kyle: Oh, come on. You're lying.
      Paige: Ease up.
Kyle: He's lying. Eddie, I want some answers and I want 'em now.

    • Kyle: You turned me into a felon, you know that, right? Breaking and entering, vandalism, theft.
Paige: It's a fiction story in a fiction world. I highly doubt we're breaking any laws.
Kyle: It may be a fiction world but those bullets seemed pretty damn real to me.
Paige: Yeah, well, that's precisely why we need to blend in before those goons come to get us again.

    • (After the gnome professor mentions the Lady Godiva incident)
Ms. Donovan: He's just using it to push his own agenda, which is to stifle freedom of speech!
Gnome Professor (he magically removes Ms. Donovan's mouth): That's what I call stifling.
Paige: You give her back her mouth right now!

    • Brody: Remember our deal, right?
Paige: I remember there being talk of a deal.
Brody: So suppose that you'll find time to help me with the Avatars?
Paige: I suppose you'll want to look at the books at the Magic School?
Brody: Suppose I'm not thinking about those books right now?
Paige: Suppose I'm hoping you're not thinking of those books?
Brody: I wonder if I know what you mean.
Paige: I wonder if I... Oh, shut up and kiss me.

    • Eddie Mullen: Of all the books in all the libraries in all the world, you gotta get sucked into this one.

    • Paige: Well I'm thinking as long as we're down here, we might as well have some fun.
Brody: Yeah, Well, you have fun. I'm gonna just survive.

    • Piper: But you said he was shot. Who would shoot a gnome? And why is the "g" silent?

    • Ms. Donovan: Lord of the Rings?
      Gnome Professor: Historically inaccurate!
      Ms. Donovan: Harry Potter?
Gnome Professor: Filled with juvenile delinquents.
Ms. Donovan: Even the Wizard of Oz?!
Gnome Professor: Diparaging to little people. Munchkins being persecuted. Filth!

    • Phoebe: You guys are such a great team.
Piper: Matchmake later, save sister now.
