  • Forget Me Not

    10
Forget Me Not was a perfect and very entertaining episode of Charmed. I really enjoyed watching because the story was very entertaining and amusing as Wyatt brought a dragon from television to the real world. There was chaos and havoc until some gentleman known as the Cleaners arrived and erased all memory and trace of the incident including Wyatt! I liked watching the sisters' figure out what was happening and deal with it. Baby Wyatt is quite powerful and I certainly look forward to watching what happens next!!!!!!!!!moreless

Kudos to the Charmed team for trying out something a little different. Now that the show has a heftier budget, attempts at bigger storylines are being made, and while the show is still fluff (though nowhere near as featherweight as season five), there's a lot to recommend here. Beginning in media res, the hour springs to life from the get go, as two mysterious men dressed all in white kidnap Wyatt and erase the sisters' memories of ever knowing him. The fun is trying to figure out what exactly happened to lead us to Phoebe starting a riot in work, as well as finding out why Wyatt was taken. While some of the FX shots were a little iffy, on the whole I was rather impressed by the sequences involving the dragon(!); they looked fairly awesome in parts (especially at night) and it was a refreshing change of pace not having any demons around to bore us to death. The riot that Phoebe managed to start by clocking Elise in the face was a hoot, and although it continues the trend of random subplots for Paige, at least it was somewhat watchable, in an after-thought kind of way. I would like to see an arc form sometime soon-ish, and less empathy from Phoebe, cos that got old two episodes ago! As others have mentioned, to inject the likes of the Cleaners into Charmed mythology felt considerably tacked-on, especially when no one addresses the whole Prue incident. It would have been a nice throwback had they been created as a result of the events that took place in ''All Hell Breaks Loose'' since both good and evil were exposed on camera. Oh well, Charmed never really was that good at continuity, so why start now?moreless
  • Terrible Episode!

    10
I really hate this episode because Chris had very short role in this episode!! Honestly, this episode sucked! It is out of character line and very silly. Leo wanted Chris starts work and save his new charges. But witches who is not important is dont need a whitelight to protect them! It is stupid, I am so glad Chris dont want to protect his new charges, he want to focused on Charmed sisters and baby Wyatt! Way to go, Chris! I am really disappointed about this episode. I dislike it. Cleaners had no right to take baby Wyatt away permanent.moreless

You know...it's just like the Charmed writers to bring up such a major plot point that should have existed years ago on the series!! The Cleaners have to be the biggest "WTF/Are You Kidding Me!?" Moment on Charmed (Well, atleast until Billie!) Seriously, where were these guys when Prue and Piper were exposed in "All Hell Breaks Loose". Oh since the sisters managed to cover up their mishaps in the past, they were no where to be found? Please, what would have been a better explaination would have beensince the events of "All Hell Breaks Loose", the Cleaners were createdto make sure such an event never happens again but NO!!The other contrivance of the episode is mind-bottling! O_0 it's sad that the Cleaners are such a major plot hole because they actually make for interesting villains considering they're neutral and work to clean up all magic, good or evil. The teaser was actually a great set-up, starting right in the middle of the story with some engaging momentum. Yet from there, the story suffers and the scenes with the dragon are some the poorest CGI I've ever seen on TV. Oh Chris bones his new charge, oh the comedy..Zzzzzzz. Well, at least we saw less of him in this episode. Anyway, I did get a kick out of watching the sister expose themselves and watching Phoebe start a massive brawl at work, but sadly those were the only real highlights. "Forget Me...Not" is ironically a forgettable episode which has too many plotholes to fully enjoy anything about it.moreless
  • The sisters forget all about Wyatt after they try to save him from something that is unstoppable.

This was a great episode. It really showed that everyone was willing to do everything for Wyatt. Lucky little guy. I loved Paige's story of the episode, her trying to help someone, her helping someone keep their job. Didn't really like Phoebe's riot. Piper's mom instincts really came in. Leo was good too. Chris was... not much featured in this episode. I liked the dialogues. The storyline was good, everything with the Cleaners... And you don't see dragons much, so that was good. Wyatt really knows what he's doing, now. But later... I don't see why all the season has to be about Wyatt. But, meh, that's the writers' problem. I love the show.

    Really good episode.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (26)

    • Why would Chris sleep with Natalie if he was engaged and in love with Bianca? Juse because he went back in time doesn't mean he doesn't love her, as show later in the season in the episode Chris-Crossed.

    • When Piper calls Leo and says that the cleaners are after Wyatt, he asks why. Wouldn't Leo, who is an Elder and able to see what is going on, know about the Dragon being on the loose? Especially since it had become such an issue that the cleaners became involved, that the Elders had heard about the whole ordeal!

    • In this episode, Chris is with another girl, yet in the episode Chris-Crossed, it was shown that he was going to marry Bianca, so how is it possible that he doesn't think about Bianca?

    • When the dragon starts flying, the doors open and the outside is shown. The floor outside is the same as the floor inside and the plants are near the doors. In the season 8 episode Kill Billie Vol.2 an explosion makes the girls go flying out the window next to the same doors and fall to that same floor, but it's a completely different exterior.

    • Wyatt is shown watching a TV show about dragons. How it is posible that the TV show about dragons would keep showing the same scene (the two dragons flying) over and over again at least for 3 minutes?

    • During the riot scene, the glass door is shown breaking before a man was thrown through it.

    • TRIVIA: This is the first time that Phoebe uses all three of her powers (premonitions, levitation, and empathy) in the same episode.

    • TRIVIA: This episode features no demons.

    • When Phoebe sits in Elise's office, the audience sees Phoebe's back every other shot. The second tattoo on her back is visible every other shot of her back.

    • Chris told Leo that he was going to pay for the beer that he was drinking in the back room of the club. It has been long established that Whitelighters do not carry or have money. So, how could Chris pay for beer?

    • Phoebe is using a desktop computer in the basement. She has been using a lap top for seasons and this was never shown before or later.

    • When Phoebe levitates in the newsroom, it's quite visible that she is wearing a harness.

    • When Piper is at the Golden Gate bridge she says the disappearence spell wrong. In the last line, she says 'As I cause this scene to become unseen'. The correct line is 'As I cause this seen to be unseen'.

    • When the Cleaners erased the riot that Phoebe started at work, why didn't they erase the cut on Phoebe's head?

    • They don't seem to ever change the posters in the club P3 - there is a Red Hot Chilli Peppers poster that's been there since season 3.

    • If the cleaners have been assigned to watch the Charmed Ones since they became witches (as stated in the season 6 episode "Crimes and Witchdemeanors") where were they in the last episode of season 3 when magic was exposed and Prue died?

    • TRIVIA: This is the first and only time a dragon was shown on the series.

    • When Piper's memory of Wyatt is erased, she asks Leo why they never had any kids. But Wyatt's conception was a huge surprise... the doctors told Piper that she would have a difficult time becoming pregnant, so she would know why they never had any children.

    • Besides not appearing during the major magical exposure at the end of season 3, the Cleaners would make the Libris demon (from the season 2 episode "Ex Libris") useless, since the Cleaners are much more unobtrusive - erasing memories, as opposed to beheading people.

    • TRIVIA: This is not the first time a sister has locked herself in the basement due to a new power. In the season 3 episode "Look Who's Barking", Piper refused to leave it, because she didn't want to risk blowing up her sisters. Also, in the episode "Primrose Empath", Prue runs down to the basement to avoid her sisters as well.

    • TRIVIA: In this episode Wyatt reveals another magical trick: he changes TV channels by blinking his eyes. This is also the second time Wyatt orbs himself and Piper, this time to play with his new friend, the dragon. Later on Piper finds a way to get rid of Wyatt's dragon, when she runs in front of it, thus posing a threat to Piper's life, and Wyatt makes it disappear.

    • TRIVIA: This is the second time that Paige uses her Glamoring power, the first being in the season 5 episode House Call.

    • TRIVIA: This marks the first appearence of The Cleaners. They would later return in this season to assist on a magical jury.

    • TRIVIA: Phoebe levitates for the first time this season in this episode.

    • TRIVIA: The tunnel that the dragon flies out of is the same tunnel that was used in the season 5 episode "Underneath" of the TV series Angel. It was also used in the film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and in a climatic scene at the end of the "Back to the Future: Part II" film.

    • Chris forgetting his mission once Wyatt is taken, is the definitive piece that proves that his mission is to protect Wyatt from whatever unknown demon that's going to attack in the future. However, in the episode "Oh My Goddess" Chris clearly states that his purpose is to help the Charmed Ones defeat the Titans, even though he's manipulated everything so he'd be forced to stay in the past.

  • QUOTES (17)

    • Paige: You started a riot, but you don't remember?
Phoebe: Yeah, it must have been how this happened (gesturing toward the bandage on her forehead), and why Elise was so mad at me.
Paige: I thought Elise was just like that.

    • Chris: Before you get mad, you're the one who wanted me to have a charge in the first place, remember?
      Leo: Yeah, to protect her!
Natalie: Oh, he was using protection.
Chris (as he shakes his head): Yeah, I don't think that's what he meant.

    • Piper: We're not like most people!

    • Piper: Are you out of your mind? Aren't you afraid of exposure?
Paige: Yes, that is why we are here.

    • Piper: I remember now, I'm a mom.

    • Piper: You're asking me to remember what I've apparently forgotten?

    • Paige (talking about the the Cleaners): Incoming.

    • Phoebe turns around to hold Wyatt.
Phoebe: You're okay! I'm so happy to see you.
      Piper: Don't smash him.
Phoebe: I'm so happy to see you. I can't--I can't help it. This is just very exciting.

    • Paige: Any infomercials for stain removal on here?
Piper: You have a stain that needs removal?
Paige: Yes, I spilled coffee on my blouse yesterday. So that dork walking around the office with the big old stain on her shirt that would be me

    • Piper: Hey, don't forget your coats, it might rain.
Paige: Would you stop mothering us please?!

    • Paige (about the dragon): Uh, I think I woke it up!
Phoebe: Oh no - I think you pissed it off.

    • Piper: (when the Cleaners come) Oh, hey, hi! Did you see our little magic act?

    • Piper: Wyatt, sweetie? Remember your friend, Mr. Dragon?

    • Piper: Well a merry-go-round has lots of animals. A carousel just has horses.
Paige: Why do you even know that, wierdo?
      Piper: I have no idea...

    • Paige: So you're saying, Wyatt conjured a dragon?
Piper: Yep, right out of the TV.
Phoebe: Oh, you must be so proud.
Piper: Yeah, and a little irritated.
      Phoebe: Right.
Paige: Okay, if this is true, then your little boy is developing some serious powers.
Piper: Yeah, the kind that unleashes Godzilla onto an unsuspecting city.

    • (Phoebe and Paige orb into the set where the weatherman is broadcasting in front of a live rolling camera.)
      Weatherman: Whew! What the...?
Phoebe: Hi. How you doing? Why don't we get a skycam view of that, shall we?
(Phoebe grabs the man, then levitates into the air with him. The anchorwoman stares in confusion.)
Kanesha: Ah, I don't know what's going on here!
Paige: It's called magic, Kanesha. Witchcraft specifically. You now what-I love your jacket!
(Paige holds her hand out and orbs the jacket toward herself. The weatherman falls onto the ground as Phoebe lands next to Kanesha.)
Phoebe: Hey, you wanna see more magic? Then take it away, Piper, who's at the Golden Gate bridge!
(On the monitor, Piper is shown near the Golden Gate bridge, and she turns toward it.)
Piper: Let the object of objection become but a dream, as I cause the scene to be unseen. (The Golden Gate bridge disappears.) You might want to take an alternate route to work in the morning.

    • Piper (as Wyatt orbs the two of them): Wyatt! Where are you taking Mommy? Wyatt?
