The Cleaners, a couple of mystical fixers, have come to take Wyatt. They're a neutral force that cleans up after normal folks have been exposed to magic, protecting both good and evil from exposure. They snatch the baby and erase the sisters' memories of him - along with all their memories of the day the Cleaners grabbed him. Wyatt has caused a bit of a stir by using his powers - he conjured a dragon off the TV screen and onto the streets of San Francisco.
Phoebe is still trying to deal with her new powers of empathy. She's not so great at it, as exhibited by the riot she caused at the office while channeling the emotions of a disgruntled employee. She has no memory of the fight. Paige is temping at a law firm. One of her colleagues is fired when she refuses to date their scumbag boss. Paige was supposed to be there to back her up, but oops! The Cleaners erased that memory, too.
Piper can't help feeling like she's forgetting something…. What could it be? ElderLeo assigns a new charge to FutureChris. Chris resists, but he warms up to the idea when he realizes she's a hottie. Leo catches Chris and his new charge in a compromising position.
The sisters know something happened to their memories, so they cast a spell to get them back. The spell makes them relive the day - Phoebe's fight, Paige's slimeball boss, and, most important, Wyatt's little dragon incident. The Cleaners give the sisters one chance to fix things - if they can contain all knowledge of the dragon, they can keep the kid. They manage to vanquish the beastie, with Wyatt's help, but not before it rains a bunch of pain and destruction on the city. The Cleaners show up for Wyatt - sure, they got rid of the dragon, but they couldn't do anything about all the pain it caused. What guarantee do The Cleaners have that Wyatt won't pull another magical stunt? Again, they snatch the kid - but this time, the sisters keep their memories.
Piper calls Leo - what can they do to defeat The Cleaners? Short answer - nothing. The Cleaners are beyond good and evil, working to keep the balance between the sides. They can't do anything to favor either side, and neither good nor evil magic can touch them. With that in mind, Piper gets creative - she decides to make the Cleaners come to them. The sisters start magicking their butts off on live TV. The Cleaners show up and threaten to "clean" the sisters off the face of the planet. Not so fast - if they do that, they've upset the balance between good and evil. What's more, Piper promises that the sisters will keep on flagrantly displaying their magic, creating oodles of work for The Cleaners. The Cleaners reluctantly return Wyatt to his mother.
