I've looked though all the pages of threads and can't find one topic about Top 10 episodes so I decide to start one. These are mine, what are yours?
10. That ‘70s Episode (Season 1, Episode 17)
Top quality writing and acting, a very good storyline and a well fleshed-out villain with one of the best MOs in Charmed history made this episode the very first perfect episode of the series.
9. Love Hurts (Season 1, Episode 21)
Three plots - Leo dying, the Darklighter rapist and Prue and Phoebe’s mixed up powers – done brilliantly without one overshadowing the other; the very first time that the series really showed what Holly was capable of.
8. Brain Drain (Season 4, Episode 7)
Dark and at some times funny, this episode really showed how twisted and psychotic The Source was. Once again top quality acting from Holly Marie Combs.
7. Déjà Vu All Over Again (Season 1, Episode 22)
Although the time loop storyline may seem cliché, Charmed managed to do it with the right mix of action and drama; thrilling you one moment and bringing a tear to your eye the next.
6. The Seven Year Witch (Season 7, Episode 16)
This was a “love it” or “hate it” episode. To me it was a “love it” one. It had everything I look for in an episode. But what really made it tick was the top class acting from Holly, Brian and Billy. I also love to poke fun at Brian for his beer gut in the “falling from grace” scene.
5. Charmed And Dangerous (Season 4, Episode 13)
Dark and exciting; a thrilling episode of Charmed which was explosive enough to be the series finale. Part of me wishes that they had kept it for the end but another part is glad they didn’t because of the Cole arc culminating in “Long Live The Queen”.
4. Morality Bites (Season 2, Episode 2)
Back in a time when the show did brilliant time travel episodes, this has got to be the best of the bunch. Fun at times, dark at others; it had everything everyone looks for, and more.
3. Vaya Con Leos (Season 8, Episode 10)
Holly and Brian were made to act with one another. Powerful in every scene they were in; this episode just proved to the world the level of talent that they have. Cameron Litvack also did a brilliant job writing this episode. He is the best writer on Charmed write now and really should have been promoted to show runner when he exploded onto the scene back in season 6 with his brilliant debut episode Chris-Crossed.
2. Long Live The Queen (Season 4, Episode 20)
The darkest episode that the show came up with. The heartbreaking ending was the cherry on top of this amazing sundae.
1. All Hell Breaks Loose (Season 3, Episode 22)
Thrilling from the get-go; this episode really pisses me off at Brad Kern because of the fact that he could write one hell of an episode back then but not now. Apocalyptic, shocking and tearful. Piper’s death, Prue’s breakdown and Leo’s selflessness really came true and could be felt from miles away proving that Holly, Shannen and Brian are the show’s top three actors ever. The doors closing on the manor for the final time in the Shannen years with the glass breaking was an exhilarating cliffhanger and one of the best scenes in the show’s history. I disagree with a lot of people who wish that an ending, when Leo heals Piper but Prue is already dead, was written into the episode. I feel that without showing what happened it gave us the climax that we were all stunned by. I’d also like to give a very honorable mention to “Chick Flick”, “Pre-Witched”, “Sin Francisco”, “Chris-Crossed” and “Witchness Protection”.
