  • In this episode, Paige \"borrows\" the book for personal gain. Piper gets attacked by a Fury and Pheobe learns what it is like to be the middle sister.

It was a great look into the relationships that are going to develop between the sisters. Paige has a very real reaction to finding out she COULD help her friends lead easier lives.
Pheobe also makes a believable realization in becoming the middle sister. Suddenly, she can\'t be the screw up she must be the mediator.
  • An unbelievably sad episode, marking the end of an era.

This episode is a turning point for Piper as a character, she finally sees that she has lost the comfort of being the middle sister and now has to take on the responsibility of the Halliwell line. This episode shows her not as strong and flippant about Prue's death as she is usually percieved, but instead it shows her as weak and vulnerable. This is how the "Furies" are able to get to her. The final scene, when she is orbed to the Mausoleom is extremely sad and has me in tears every time i watch it. When Piper breaks down completely, in floods of tears and starts to hit Prue's grave, crying out "how could you do that to me, how could you leave me", which is truly moving. This is also an episode in which the new character Paige, comes into her own. She is getting ready to fill the shoes of her sister Prue, knowing that they big shoes to fill. This episode is painful to watch, a true classic.
