After the Manor blows up Piper finds Phoebe dead and holds her until Leo comes back. She hears someone, thinks it's Paige but finds out it's Billie. After the whole fight she doesn't even look for Paige to see if she's alive. If Piper and Billie are alive then why didn't she even look for Paige?
TRIVIA: During Season 8, 89 demons, 2 darklighters, 1 wizard and 1 evil witch are vanquished, making a total of 93 evil beings. For the second season in a row, only a minority (38) are vanquished by the Charmed Ones. As to the rest, Billie and Christy kill 27, while 25 are killed by other demons, 2 die of a virus and 1 is vanquished by students from Magic School.
TRIVIA: This is the last of 17 episodes to feature the name of a main character in the title. There are four with Phoebe, three with Leo, two with Piper, two with Billie and one each with Prue, Paige, Cole, Chris, Wyatt and Christy. There are also four episodes featuring the name Halliwell.
Despite having been frozen for the last six months, Leo has somehow found time to get his hair cut.
At the end of the previous episode, Gone with the Witches, Paige orbed all three of the sisters into the Underworld, stating that she was aiming for Magic School but they must've shielded it from them. Yet in this episode, The Charmed Ones easily orb into Magic School to vanquish the triad. Also, why aim for Magic School and not Phoebe's apartment?
Billie says Phoebe mentioned the Charmed Ones were under a spell during the events of the previous episode. The problem is, it's not Phoebe who said it in the last episode, it was Piper.
TRIVIA: This episode marks the first time that Wyatt has spoken in several complete sentences. Previously, his character has only spoken on occasion in a few words and once in a short sentence.
The Triad chamber was shown to be in Magic School in the previous episode. However, from this episode, for an unknown reason, what is seen beyond the door went from a hallway in Magic School to a completely blank white background.
When the sisters orb to the Manor after destroying the Triad, Piper begins to orb before Paige even touches her.
TRIVIA: The bedroom shot that is used when the manor is being blown up is a shot from season 7 episode Death Becomes Them from the scene where Phoebe runs out of her bedroom and Piper looks if there is someone there.
When we see the manor blowing up you can see that the attic windows that were broken by Christy and Billie are suddenly new! They should be broken still.
TRIVIA: This is the second time episode 21 of a season has ended with "To Be Continued...". The first was in Season 7's "Death Becomes Them". Both times, Brad Kern had written the last episode of the season to be the series finale. Last season, without any knowledge if the show would be back, Brad had written an episode that could act as both the season and series finale.
TRIVIA: The sound after the manor blows up, car alarm and dogs barking, was the same sound use in the Angel episode To Shanshu in L.A. when Angel's house is blown up.
TRIVIA: In this episode it is revealed how the Triad survived both their destruction at Cole's hands and the Charmed Ones - they always eventually return first in spirit form then later physical form. The only way to truly kill them is to destroy their spirit form.
TRIVIA: This is the tenth time Phoebe has died. She was killed twice in the season 1 episode Deja Vu All Over Again, her future self was burned at the stake in the season 2 episode Morality Bites, her elder self died in the season 4 episode The three faces of Phoebe, she was killed along with Paige in the season 5 episode A Witch in Time and the season 6 episodeSword and the City, she was killed along with Paige and Piper in the season 6 episodeI Dream of Phoebe, she was killed alone in the season 6 episodeSomeone To Witch Over Me, and in the season 7 episode Freaky Phoebe.
TRIVIA: This was the seventh time Paige has died. The first time was in the season 5 episode Happily Ever After as Snow White when she bit the apple, then she was killed by a fireball in season 5 in A Witch in Time, and was killed three times in the season 6 episodes, Sword and the City, Soul Survivor and I Dream of Phoebe, and in the season 7 episode Styx Feet Under.
When the sisters orb to Phoebe's loft and are stunned by the demons, Piper has her left hand down by her side, but when the demons start talking and the camera switches views, her hands are on her chest instead. Also Paige is on her side and both of her hands are on the floor when she is stunned but when Phoebe wakes her up, her hands are on her stomach and she is on her back.
TRIVIA: At the end of this episode, the Manor is "blown up", but this wasn't done until the very last scene was shot for the series finale episode "Forever Charmed".
The red chair in Phoebe's loft was the same chair that belongs to Paige, that Piper blew up in the season 4 episode Brain Drain, because she said she thought it was the chameleon demon, but actually Piper blew up that chair because she hated it.
TRIVIA: In this episode, while Victor is playing the board game Candyland with Wyatt, a card gets orbed and Wyatt blames Chris, but laughs when saying it. Then later when Wyatt is missing, Victor asks baby Chris to find his brother and moments later Wyatt orbs in. This may be foreshadowing and demonstrate that baby Chris does finally have powers - as he hasn't shown any yet. In the next episode it is revealed that Chris does have powers, because Wyatt had lost his and it was Chris that orbed him back to Victor's apartment.
TRIVIA: This episode marks the reappearance of series regular Brian Krause (Leo Wyatt) since the earlier season 8 episode "Vaya Con Leos". Leo reappears first in spiritual form that only Piper sees, but at the end of the episode, Leo is returned by the Angel of Destiny. Also actor Brian Krause is now back in the opening theme credits.
TRIVIA: This is the second time the Hollow has been used since the season 4 episode "Charmed & Dangerous". This time the Halliwell sisters and the Jenkins sisters summon it and it enters all of them.
TRIVIA: This is the first time Wyatt has used his shield this season. It's also the first time ever that he is shown using it to protect his little brother, after Victor tells him to.
Christy: Where did everyone go?
Billie: Oh, I sent them home. I-I thought they'll be safer away from us.
Christy: But we might need their help. The sisters…
Billie: …are gonna come after us. I know. But it's not the magical community's fight, it's ours. "It's our Destiny!"
Christy: Here we go again.
Billie: No, don't worry. I know it's the right thing, and it's all for the greater good, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.
(In Victor's apartement, talking about Phoebe)
Coop: Nobody will ever love your daughter more than me, ever. I promise you that.
Victor: What do you know about love?
Coop: I'm a Cupid!
Victor: Well that doesn't mean squat unless you've had your heart broken. Have you had your heart broken?
Victor: Then you don't know about love, believe me.
Piper: I knew we shouldn't have trusted you.
Christy: You should have trusted your instincts.
Piper: Next time.
Billie: There won't be a next time.
(Billie's bandaging Christy's wound)
Billie: Too bad we're trying to kill Paige, otherwise she could've healed you.
Billie: We've been waiting for you.
Paige: Well the wait is over.
Angel of Destiny: The battle is over... but not as I expected.
Phoebe: Okay, we can't keep playing Survivor: Underworld much longer.
(Wyatt and Victor are playing the board game Candyland)
Victor: Unless you draw a double red, you don't stand a chance, my man. Go ahead. Pick that card. (Wyatt draws a blue card and Victor laughs. Suddenly, it orbs and changes to a double red) Hey! That's cheating!
Wyatt (giggling): It wasn't me. It was Chris.
Victor: No way! He doesn't have any powers yet.
Wyatt: Yes he does.
(Baby Chris laughs, in his playpen)
(After Coop has materialize into Victor's apartment)
Victor: All right. Who the hell are you and what do you want?
Coop: You've got the wrong idea. I'm a friend. I'm a Cupid.
Victor: Yeah, right. Get out of here or I'll sic my grandson on you!
Piper: We can't fend off demons forever. We need a plan.
Paige: Maybe just give up? Heh...
(Coop materializes into Victor's apartment, searching for Phoebe)
Victor: Wyatt, shield, orb!
(Wyatt orbs over to baby Chris' playpen and puts up his shield to protect the two of them from Coop)
When the manor was blown up there was a tribute to the grandfather clock, the spirit bourd, and the picture of the sisters.
On it's original airdate this episode got 3.7 million viewers.
The Halliwell sisters fly through the stain glass windows on the side of the Manor. When the potions explode during the first battle with Christy and Billie, the Halliwell sisters go flying through the stain glass windows referencing the same result in the battles with Shax in the season three finale, All Hell Breaks Loose.
Piper: Okay, we can't keep playing Survivor: Underworld much longer.
