Trivia

FILTER BY TYPE

  • Trivia

    • When Phoebe has the landlord hanging upside down and asks him if he's going to do something about the cockroaches, she can't pronounce "cockroaches" and keeps saying "cock-o-roaches".

    • Leo says that Kevin's power of projection means he must be a witch but the last person they met with this power was the Source of All Evil! Shouldn't Leo be a little more wary? Kevin might easily have been a demon.

    • The demon Arnon says he must kill his victim during the forthcoming equinox. He then says this is a once in a lifetime event which takes place tonight. What on earth is he talking about? Equinoxes happen twice every year (on 21st of March and 21st of September) and they last all day!

    • Why did Cole kill the slumlord? He said that he could find the original tape. He could've played along with him, found the original tape and destroyed it with the copies, in that case, the slumlord would have nothing and can't prove anything against him or Phoebe.

    • Phoebe says that the slumlord wants to see her and Cole, but later, the slumlord is showing Cole the tape and is about to leave without waiting for Phoebe. So did he really want her there or was she supposed to come just to find out that Cole killed him? Speaking of which, Cole was obviously going to kill him from the beginning. It was anticipated. So he could've done it and Phoebe would never have any knowledge about the incident to begin with.

    • The set where The Agressor kills the boy returning the ballets is the same exact set used as Social Services where Paige used to work in season 4.

    • When Piper is turned into a superhero, she has a paper in her hand that suddenly dissapears and never come back even when she is normal again.

    • TRIVIA: The Agressor is played by the same man that creates the costumes and does the special make-up in the show. He created The Agressor costume and he is the one that creates the demons' faces or the magical creatures' look also. Also he has appeared on the series several times (for example he was the big demon in the episode Hulkus Pucus).

    • The Elder said that Elders' powers are mental and they are not corporeal despite that we have seen several time that their powers are corporeal.

    • When the Demon breaks the drawing of the Charmed Ones you can see that it's not the real one. If you compare the one that gets broken with the one that the boy had painted you can see that they are completely different.

    • When the Agressor attacks for the first time in the Manor, the door in the solarium opens itself before he goes in. That does not make sense, even if the Agressor goes very fast the door should stay closed until he touched it and not opened itself.

    • When Piper freezes the Agressor, he starts going in slow motion and Ramus is also going in slow motion. But Ramus should not be that way because he was not frozen. Also if Piper's power had frozen Ramus he would be frozen and not in slow motion as the Agressor was.

    • When they were fighting, Piper called for Paige and she heard her and came to help. How was Paige able to hear her calling? That is a whitelighter's power to hear their charges and Piper is not Paige's charge.

    • How is Paige able to orb into the manor so quick? She was in the middle of something and she was not alone. Anyway she appears there in a second.

    • Piper and Paige are talking about Paige's problem and she said that she was lucky because she orbed back before her boyfriend turned the lights on. Anyway Paige orbing power makes a blue light that would be visible in the dark, in fact Paige would have been a living lamp. There's no way he could not see the orbing light.

    • When Piper sees Paige in the club she is kissing her boyfriend and they are on a couch. But in the wide shot they are shown dancing near the couch instead.

    • The dress that Phoebe wears in the club is the same one that she used to do the publicity work.

    • TRIVIA: In this episode, Phoebe says "Who was that masked man?", Prue prevously said that in the season 3 episode All Halliwell's Eve.

    • Leo says that Kevin is a witch, so how did he became an elder if you have to be a whitelighter to become one?

    • TRIVIA: Phoebe's actions in this episode (torturing the landlord) are later used against her and the Charmed Ones in the season 6 episode Crimes and Witchdemeaners.

    • TRIVIA: Phoebe leaps tall buildings in a single bound, much like Superman.

    • The same apartment set is shown again when Dave's apartment is shown. It is the same exact place as in the season 1 episodes "Dream Sorcerer" and "The Witch Is Back".

    • When Cole and Phoebe are talking on the roof, the Transpyramid Tower appears in the background behind them both when the flag is behind them, and when the camera angle switches to the reverse side so it'd be about where the flag is.

    • How did the slumlord manage to find Phoebe going into the airport hangar? She and her sisters have been super-speeding around town (so he couldn't have been trailing them) and neither the slumlord nor the guards he told to check her out would have any idea where to find her.

  • Quotes

    • (Phoebe, in her superhero costume, is holding Edward Miller upside-down off the roof of his building. Cole appears.)
Phoebe: Cole! What are you doing here?
Cole: Well, I got a call from one of the tenants saying that, uh, Wonder Woman was terrorizing the landlord. What the hell are you doing?
Phoebe: Well, I'm teaching my buddy here how important it is to be a better person. (to Edward) Are you a better person yet?
      Edward: I'm slipping!
Phoebe: Oh, no, you're not slipping. (She relaxes her grip.) That's slipping.
      Cole: Honey...
Phoebe: Don't call me honey anymore.
Cole: I don't know what's going on here but this is not you. Literally.
Phoebe: Are you kidding? This is better than me. This is new and improved me. Now not only can I help my readers, but I can help the entire city.
      Cole: Careful, he's got ears.
Phoebe: Oh, please, relax. The only thing he can hear right now is the blood rushing to his brain.

    • (Piper catches Paige and Phoebe at the hot new club in town.)
Phoebe: Oh, hi, Piper. Hey, hey, wow, you're up late. What are you doing here?
      Piper: Right back at ya.
Leo: (to Paige's date) Dave, how about I buy you a drink.
      Dave: I've got one, thanks.
Leo: That's not going to be enough.

    • Paige (about Dave): If he's Mr. Right, I'll tell him I fly around on broomsticks!

    • (After they've been knocked out by The Aggressor)
      Paige: Everybody still alive?
      Piper: I'm not sure yet.

    • (Leo notices Paige's revealing dress underneath her satin robe)
Leo: Uh, Paige, where did you orb in from?
Paige (who was having sex before she orbed in, closes the robe): I was dealing with some personal problems.
Leo: Well, I'm your whitelighter. So if you ever wanna talk…
      Piper and Paige: Nooo!

    • Piper: A little history lesson: I'm not a big fan of your rules. In fact, I take pride in breaking them.
Ramus: I know. You've been a real pain over the years.

    • Phoebe: Why don't you just turn him into a fountain pen?
Cole (snickers): Believe me, I'm tempted, but, um, I've decided I'm not gonna use my powers, no matter what.
      Phoebe: Since when?
Cole: Since I tried to strangle you with them.

    • (Phoebe's office phone rings. She picks it up)
      Phoebe: Phoebe Halliwell.
Piper: So, what do you say to an overbearing younger sister who's treating her pregnant older sister like a porcelain doll?
      Phoebe: Thank you?
Piper: How about "knock it off"?!

    • Reamus: There is, however, perhaps something I can do for you.
      Leo: What do you mean?
Reamus: I am an Elder and I can forsee the future, enough of it anyway to give you a glimpse. If you're interested.
Leo: Isn't that against the rules?
Reamus: I'm retiring, what do I care?

    • Phoebe: I think it's great that you want to help. I really do, but I can't. I am powerless to do anything right now.
Cole: You may be a lot of things, but powerless isn't one of them.

    • Phoebe: Cole just called. He said the idiot slumlord wants to meet Cole and me now.
      Piper: Why?
Phoebe: Oh, I don't know. Something about having a tape of Cole's superhero ex-wife in action.
      Piper: Oh, no.

    • Paige: Uh headrush...let's do it again!

    • (A while after Paige explains to Piper that she's been having trouble in bed, Piper tries to convince Phoebe to come home from work and babysit Ramus.)
Piper: Bored in Berkley can wait. I've got DJ's to audition.
Phoebe: No, believe me, these are a lot more serious than that…Look, what about Paige? Can't she come?
      Piper: Apparently not.

    • Leo: P3's still doing great.
Piper: Not as great as it used to be, thanks to me.
Leo: Well, Piper, you're having a baby. Your priorities have changed.
Piper: Yeah, well, haven't you heard? Women can have careers and babies now. It's been in all the papers.
Leo: Well, are those women trying to save the world from demons too?

    • Phoebe: Okay gimme a sec while my organs catch up.
      Paige: Nice outfit!
      Phoebe: Back at ya, sis!

    • Paige: I think I'm so busy protecting this big ol' secret of ours I guess I can't really let my guard down. How'd you do it?
      Piper: Marry an angel.

    • Piper: I'm pregnant, not terminal.

    • Phoebe: Who was that masked man?

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • Piper: ... The Demon of Illusion.

She is talking about the demon of the Illusion that appeared in the season 2 episode Chick Flick. He was able to get out characters from the movies.

    • Phoebe: Who was that masked man?

This is a reference to the TV series The Lone Ranger, that ran through the 1940s to the 1950s. This was a famous line from the show.

    • Kevin's power to bring drawings to life is very similar to Relm (of the video game Final Fantasy VI), and Drawcia (of the videogame Kirby: Canvas Curse).

    • Title: Witches in Tights

This is a reference to the 1993 film Robin Hood: Men in Tights starring Cary Elwes.

    • The scene transition from the alley to the kid's superhero persona whooping the thugs' butts is a rip-off of the scene transitions used in the 1960's "Batman" TV series.
