Annie called the Marshal impersonator a son of a b.... twice. The first before she met his mother and the second was afterwards.
As Annie had not yet met the mother one could easily forgive Annie for calling the mother a b.... but that does not really excuse her for calling the mother that afterwards.
The fact that the mother was oblivious to what her son was doing does not make her a b....
