An uneasy mixture of kooky bedroom farce and detective show. And speaking of uneasy, George looks decidedly strained in his role here; also, he and McClure are both given to moments of overacting in this one. If I had to guess though, I would say that was more a problem of direction or storyline than the actors themselves. Alberghetti is good, and proves that she can do more than sell salad dressing. Still, take a goofy series premise (a detective agency that prevents crimes before they happen), add 3 leads with no visible chemistry between them, and then graft on a silly, indulgent plot, and you'll get what you pretty much have gotten with this episode.
