  • Trivia

    • When Rebecca yells "Sheridan's in the kitchen with Satan" and Sam teases her about her "folk song," he is referring to the classic folk song "I've been working on the railroad" that includes in its later verses the refrain "someone's in the kitchen with Dinah"

    • In the episode "Pitch it Again, Sam" Frasier mentions that he has a fear of dogs. Although he goes and pets Satan right when he walks in the bar

  • Quotes

    • Woody: Hey [Satan's] got Mr. Clavin trapped in the men's room.
Norm: That's okay, we can use the one up at Melville's.

    • Mr. Sheridan: Miss Howe, who's this man?
Rebecca: This man? He's Woody. He's my boyfriend.
      Woody: Well Miss Howe.
Mr. Sheridan: You boyfriend calls you Miss Howe?
      Rebecca: I was his teacher.

    • Rebecca: Sam, did you come out here because you were concerned I was scared? Or did you come out here to get me in the sack?
Sam: Hey I came out here because I was concerned and scared that I would never get you in the sack.

    • Rebecca: God how in the hell did you get in here?
Sam: Well you left the back door open. I just followed some guy with a meat hook.

    • Carla: You know I have a surefire way of keeping yourself calm, picture your audience naked.
Frasier: Oh thank you, Carla for that old chestnut from speech 101.
Carla: Wait a minute, I've got a twist on it. Picture them naked and wearing black socks.
Frasier: Oh Carla, that's ridiculous. I can't see that that would...(stares at Carla and starts laughing)
Carla: I told you it works. Now shut up.

    • Rebecca: Hurry Sam, Sheridan's in the kitchen with Satan.
Sam: This is no time for folk singing.

    • Sam: Let me see here, Rebecca Howe all alone and scared in a big old house. Sounds to me like a job for Sammy's Security Company, we get in before the burglars do!
Carla: That's what I like about you Sam; you're pants are always thinkin'.
