  • Quotes

    • Sam: Diane, listen to me. I think we both realize that a lot of things can happen when you leave like this. Who knows when we'll see each other again? I'd like you to do me a favor.
      Diane: What's that, Sam?
Sam: I've been a real jerk to you sometimes. I'd appreciate it when you think of me you remember me as a decent person.
Diane: Of course. I'll remember you as Albert Schweitzer.

    • Sam: Listen to me. I'm sincere about this, I like you two and I want to see you both happy.
      Diane: Thank you, Sam.
Sam: After all just because the two of us didn't travel well-
Diane: When did we ever travel?
Sam: Are you kidding me? We went through hell together.
Diane: Well it helps that you knew the language.

    • Frasier: Sam, Diane and I are going to Europe.
      sam: Europe? Overseas?
Diane: Well we were going to go to the local one but it's all booked up,

    • Diane: On the count of three we, two, two and a half.....

  • Notes

    • This is Nick Colasanto's (Coach) last filmed appearance. He would appear again in a previous, unused scene in Season 3's last episode, ''Rescue Me''.

    • James Burrows earned a 1985 Emmy nomination for Best Direction in a Comedy Series for his work on this episode.

    • This is the last full episode featuring Colasanto, but it was not the last that he filmed. This Diane-heavy episode went into production early as a result of Long's growing waistline.
