The Cheers gang recruits Kevin McHale to help them beat "Gary's Olde Time Tavern" in a basketball game.
A pretty good example of a later-in-the-series episode of "Cheers" -- good ensemble bits and enough funny parts to throw to most of the major players. To me, this story is especially funny for the lines Woody uses when discussing the rivalry between his Hanover, Indiana and Larry Bird's French Lick. In some ways, the competiton angle with the other tavern is one of the better angles "Cheers" takes after all the years and a lot of soap opera among most of the cast during this time. Good examples of double trickery at the conclusion and the gang pulling together. With the exception of some Lilith (and not really counting Carla), this is one of those "all guys" type stories.
