      • Maybe Sam's just too good to need aphrodisiacs :-) Another thought is that he didn't need them at first but he has begun to, as part of his addiction to s*x (which is revealed in a later season.) Sort of like a person who keeps needing a bigger high.

      • At the beginning of the episode, Sam seems eager to know what the aphrodisiac is that's listed in Carla's magazine. Wouldn't Sammy(the master of love) know every aphrodisiac in the book?

      ADD NOTES
      • Ellen Regan only had a one day contract, which is why Sue's never seen or heard, though Sam speaks to her on the phone.

      • Music: Diane and Sam sing "Isn't it romantic?" at the end of the episode

      • During the opening scenes of the episode, we see shots of the character's houses, and we hear them talking to various people about the events of last episode. Norm talks to what we think is Vera, but we later learn it is his dog! Carla talks to her son Anthony, Cliff talks to his mom, and Diane talks to Frasier (who is voiced by Kelsey Grammer, although KG is uncredited). No credits for Esther Clavin or Anthony Tortelli, although the voices are not the actors who will play them later on.
