Cheers Season 5 Episode 10

This is probably one of my favorite episodes...The whole Diane vs. Sam thing is great and in the end where she catches Sam with her love letters is too cute.

Woody also has some hilarious lines in this one.

Although I hate slapstick, the food fight is done skillfully to ensure that it is funny. What is revealing about the charactors in this episode, is that they are all a bunch of losers, but have a real friendship together. This episode really made me feel that the show was much deeper than a mere comedy, and that the writers really cared about the charactors, which in turn was well conveyed by both the classy writing, and the great acting of the cast. A show that can make slapstick funny has to be class.
