OK, we've had favourite episode, so how about favourite moment, or line, or joke or whatever.

Mine is where sam watches Diane leave and as she walks up the stairs, he says "Have a good life" even though she has told him she would be back but he knows she is gone for good. Very moving.

I would say it's a toss-up between Diane hitting Coach in the head with a baseball and Cliff's explanation of the beetabaga.

When Norm walks in and asks for a screaming viking, and Woody or someone yells 'Norm'.  "Not now, you idiot!"

Near the end of "Showdown, Part 2" the season 1 finale, as Sam and Diane fight in his office, Sam opens the door.... and there must be 20 people jammed into the doorway, eavesdropping. The biggest laugh, the funniest moment, hands down!

the episode "here's cliffy" is where he sends a joke to the Tonight Show. You're thinking of a different one, where he does his stand up act

Mine was when Norm had the monkey bring the mail into cheers at the end of the show after he and Cliff had already put everything behind them.  I laugh everytime I see that episode.

How about in "Knights of the Scimitar" from Season 5, after Sam gives Diane the big one (kiss) in front of Lance Appollonaire, then Diane tries to breathlessly deliver the line, "Yes I see how that might give you pause."  Even 20 years later, just thinking about that scene cracks me up.

Mine would probaly have to be from 'Ill be seeing you,Pt.2',when Sam and Diane are having that knockdown dragout fight, especially when they are squeezing each others noses. And the part where Diane says that "someday I knew wed get down to the real Sam Malone!"That was such a classic moment, which completely changes their relationship permanently.I also love the scene from 'Coach buries a grudge',where Coach and his old teammates are getting ready to leave and everyone is so agitated, until Diane gets up and starts singing 'Amazing Grace'.That is such a moving moment,it always makes my eyes well up.

My favourite line is one that Sam makes in the episode "Power Play":

"Things are gonna be a lot more the way they used to be around here than they ever were".

Totally nonsense, and I just love it.
