find it funny :: that "roz" and "fraiser's dad" ( both names of

real actors, escapes me at the moment), but were both on

"Cheers" ( it was weeeeird ) too see to say the least.

I know, its a business, and perhaps kelsey "discovered" or

re-discovered the talent while on the cheers set, but still 'funny/weird' to see -

*also, one slip - in cheers, fraiser talks about his dad...( very minor /quick reference),

and i didnt notice it til way after even fraiser off the aire, but it was just funny, not

consistent w / the current fraiser story line... (perhaps dad's line of work ) lol

You mean Peri Gilpin and John Mahoney? The fact they both guest-starred on "Cheers" in Season 11 might've been mostly coincidental. "Frasier" attracted stage actors and so did "Cheers."

yes those (2) - it was weird..since they had such CONVINCING roles on fraiser, the (preceeding) cheers cameos seemed ...unnatural lol.

Funny thing, I watched both shows basically in their entirety in their 1st runs, and I never recognized Mahoney or Gilpin before when they were on Frasier. I saw the one with Gilpin recently and she was just a reporter (I think) with a few lines, but man she still looked hot. I think Mahoney only had a few lines on his appearance.
