- David Lloyd earned an Emmy nomination for Best Writing in a Comedy Series for his excellent, typically dark script. Lloyd, of course, penned the renowned, macabre "Chuckles Bites the Dust" episode of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," for which he won an Emmy in 1976.
