      • Carla: Wait a minute, Sammy. Look. Rebecca just said she was leaving here and never coming back.
        Sam: Yeah.
Carla: Oh man, this is terrible.
        Frasier: What?
Carla: Sammy finally struck out for real.
        (Everyone in the bar mumbles)
Sam: What are you talking about here?
Carla: We all knew it was taking a long time but we thought that eventually you two would be doing the horizontal hokey pokey.
Norm: I guess that's it, huh? Lower the flag.
Carla: It's the end of an era.
Sam: Yup, I guess that's it.

      • Sam: I just hope we can remain friends.
Rebecca: Get your mind out of your pants!

      • Rebecca: I don't mean to be disloyal to Robin or anything but it was one of the most powerful things that's ever happened to me in my life.
Sam: Really? You need to get out more, hon.

      • Cliff: Well fellas, that's the bell announcing Clavin's mid-morning brain twister.
Carla: Are you going to get up and try to walk again?

      • Woody: I got a raise.
        Rebecca: You deserve it, Woody.
Woody: I deserved it two years ago.

      • Sam: To celebrate the new management, I am wiping out everybody's bar tabs.
Norm: Sam Malone, I am not a man for mushy sentiment but I want you to know something, If you ever need a liver donor I got one like (shows arms) so big.

      • Rebecca: This is about us.
        Sam: What about us?
Rebecca: Sam, we have been friends too long to let it end this way. And I just came back to say that I'm sorry I ran out earlier in a huff. And that I knew you weren't coming on to me. And when you said I wasn't good that it wasn't just some trick to get me back into bed it was because you were being honest because I am a lousy lover.
        Sam: No, sweetheart you're not.
Rebecca: Sam, it's alright. It's not like I haven't heard it before.
        Sam: You're a fantastic lover.
Rebecca: I'm a dud and I know it. Robin just didn't realize it because he's English.
Sam: Listen. I wouldn't say you were good if you weren't.
Rebecca: No, no Sam that doesn't wash. You've been after me for three years and you finally got me. I mean if I was even adequate I know that you would've run out there and told every bozo in the bar.
Sam: You don't think I was dying to do that? It was making me crazy. It's just that I thought I would be betraying our friendship. I've never had a friend before.
Rebecca: You have lots of friends!
Sam: No, no I've never had a friend before.

      • Rebecca: This isn't about a silly check...give me the check.

      • (Rebecca and Sam are talking about their encounter.)
Rebecca: ...we're never doing it again.
        Sam: Fine.
Rebecca: I mean it, never again.
        Sam: Gotcha.
Rebecca: You should listen to me! There is no more!

      • Robin: I won't have any money when I come out.
Rebecca: That doesn't matter. I'll help you rebuild your fortune.
Carla: Yeah just look at what she's done with this bar.
        Robin: Shut up! (leaves)
Carla: (to Sam) Boy, just because you lose a few million bucks is no reason to cop a 'tude!

      • Rebecca: What were you guys talking about?
Frasier: Former presidents with fish parts in their faces.
Rebecca: Come on. You really expect me to believe that you were talking about something that stupid?
Carla: Where have you been all these years? Hello!

    • NOTES (3)

      • When Kirstie Alley became pregnant over the summer, the writers planned on making Rebecca pregnant. And the storyline would be "Who's the father: Robin or Sam?" They filmed the first four episodes of the season (not yet introducing the pregnancy) and then Kirstie Alley miscarried. So, the story was scrapped.

      • This is one of the few episodes not involving practical jokes to feature Gary's Olde Towne Tavern.

      • The last scene of the previous episode is replayed as the first scene after the opening titles of this episode.
