GOOF: Carla and Madame Lazora are sitting at the table speaking about Carla taking over Madame Lazora's business. In that scene, Cliff and Norm are sitting in their normal bar stools. When Madame Lazora gets up and says the line about her teeth the camera cuts to Sam behind the bar. Cliff is clearly seen standing across the other side of the bar, closest to Melville's stairs. When the camera cuts back to Carla, Cliff is seen sitting in his bar stool again.
Frasier: Carla, would you like to talk about it?
Frasier: Well then, would you like me to show you the correct fingering for Greensleeves?
Pete: I wonder what's wrong with Carla.
Cliff: We all know what's wrong with Carla, but I'm the only one with enough courage to say it. Not enough bran. (Carla pushes Cliff off his stool)
Carla: Maybe I didn't read your mind but I was definitely reading somebody's mind because those images were as clear as day.
Sam: Come on, Carla.
Carla: Who here had a mother with black hair and a Labrador retriever? (No one in the bar answers) Come on I can't be the only one.
Carla: Sam, I'm gonna read your mind. Okay, think of something.
Sam: Right now?
Carla: You're thinkin' about your car.
Carla: You're thinkin' about some babe.
Carla: Wait a minute. Give me a minute. I can do this. Just give me a chance. You're thinkin' about your hair.
Carla: Come on, Sam. That's everything you ever think about.
Carla: I'm gonna be a psychic. Who could have predicted that?
Madame Lazora: Tonight when I return all the secrets of the spirit world will be revealed to you.
Carla: Why can't we start right now?
Madame Lazora: I have to get my teeth cleaned. We all have many lives but only one set of teeth.
Carla: Just tell me it's going to be quick and painless.
Madame Lazora: I don't understand.
Carla: You don't foresee a hideous disaster in my future?
Madame Lazora: Of course I do, but that's not why I'm here.
Rebecca: Woody, you opened last night in Arsenic and Old Lace. Why didn't you tell me so I could go?
Woody: I did tell you Miss Howe.
Rebecca: Oh then I was sick.
Woody: Oh I'm sorry. Are you feeling better?
Rebecca: Oh so so.
This is the first (and only) episode where Bebe Neuwirth introduces the episode ("Cheers is filmed in front of a live studio audience").
