Rebecca throws the cigarette in a Boston Red Sox trash can
(After Woody is sulking about the bar) Rebecca: Hey, Woody, you should see the Pool table its fused to the floor. Woody: Cool!
(To Rebecca, after he learns she burned down the bar) Sam: Of all the stupid things you've done in your useless life... this is your masterpiece.
Frasier: I guess we've seen the dark side of Sam Malone. Cliff: You wanna see dark side; you ought to see Ma when you leave the shower curtain on the inside of the tub. That's something you don't do twice.
In the beginning of the next season, Norm & Cliff are in the car coming back from Woody's wedding and Norm says he wants to go to Cheers even though Vera is asleep in the back seat of the car. Even though the audience doesn't see her that means that the people in the bar actually have.
This season features the most scenes on the street outside the bar than any other.
Its also a very short season for Bebe Neuwirth who was called back to Broadway and now only appears in the credits when she is in the episode.
This is the beginning of a short season for Woody Harrelson. His increasing stardom resulted in more film roles, and he appears in only thirteen episodes in year eleven to accommodate his shooting schedule.
The episode title comes from the 1845 Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale of the same name.
