    Cheyenne boards a train escorting a bride to be. In his pocket is $5000 that needs to be delivered to his boss. Prior to boarding, Cheyenne is warned of a young set of bandits who have recently been robbing trains. When the train departs from the station, each character within the coach car (almost without delay) interacts with Cheyenne. A young couple, a military Major, an elderly woman with loads of spunk, an Indian and several others. When the train is held up by Dennis Hopper and his gang (who are not only seeking valuables but also fame) Cheyenne is out voted to surrender to these thugs 5 to 3. Dennis Hopper escorts the passengers off the train to an old horse corral and calls them one by one. His obvious plan is to sift through their personal belongings and take all valuables. He spares a few and kills a few during his jovial, psychotic frenzy. Interesting is the scene where Hopper discovers the major has been discharged due to cowardly acts. It now makes sense why the Major opted to surrender to the bandits. Ultimately President Grant is saved by Cheyenne as he boards Grant's train prior to it reaching the point of explosion detonated by Dennis Hopper.moreless
