The performance given by Christine Lahti in this episode is outstanding. She is at this point new to the show and it just goes to show what a difference bringing an academy award winner to TV can make to the show. The whole medical neglegance angle worked for me. I always felt that doctors regard themselves as being infallible. This episodes chronicles medical error in a very real way. My compliments also go to the writers of the show for bringing such a difficult subject to the screen in such a real manner and to Christine Lahti for her great work on it.moreless
