Dr. McNeil goes to magnificent lengths to save the arm of a young baseball star - and is sued when he doesn't succeed. A little girl is brought into the ER after being hit by a car. Although she isn't badly hurt, the situation is complicated because she is unable to communicate at all, and Dr. Shutt has to figure out why.
