  • Notes

    • This is the first time in the show's history Ed Brown uttered a Spanish phrase, to get the bus driver to stop so he can get Raul.

    • Shot on location in Mexico, this is the only episode of the series to have been filmed, rather than taped.

    • In a way, this episode (originally aired as a one-hour episode but broken into two parts for syndication) marked the one-year anniversary of Freddie Prinze's death. Not until this episode did some of his fans have a sense of closure.

    • This is the episode where they finally deal with the death of Freddie Prinze, and when Ed finds Raul sleeping inside a small church, they have a talk and Ed finally tells Raul the truth that the "first" Chico died. Prior to this double episode, they led the viewers to believe that Chico left to go to Mexico to work for his father.
