      • This episode contains several references to the Jules Verne novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and the live action Disney movie based on it. Captain Finn's submarine is a copy of the submarine from the movie, and Nemo (a man who was on a similar quest to Captain Finn) was the captain of the vessel. Also the submarine in this episode was populated mostly by squids. 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea contained a climatic battle against a giant squid which has become one of the most iconic battles in history.
