This episode was rather amusing for me, some of the dialogue was clever and the astronauts' names were good examples of word-play. I found Gadget's space-rocket to be a little too improbable, but this is a cartoon, mind you it is a cartoon that uses real science more than most; I cannot seriously see TNT being able to accelarate a tin can to escape velocity.
Curiously enough, many things in this episode, be they dialogue or vehicle maneuvours, reminded me of Gerry Anderson's puppet series 'Thunderbirds'. While that link can be considered vague, if you look at some of the events in this episode and compare them to a few Thunderbirds episodes you can see where I'm coming from.
This episode is the only one where all the Rangers go into space, two hitching a ride and three autonomously.
