The Rangers visit a gypsy fortune teller at a local carnival and are shocked when she predicts that Chip will become the victim of a horrible accident.
  • One of the true highlights of the series, and possibly the only real Chip focused episode.

"Seer No Evil", along with "Good Times, Bat Times" and "Adventures in Squirrelsitting" is my favourite episode of all time in the CDRR series.

While it was mostly a children's show, and most episodes aren't that engaging from an adult's perspective, this mysterious and dark story about a gypsy moth's predictions on Chip still ranks up high on my favourite cartoon list.

The storytelling here is brilliant. You can't expect at the start of the cartoon that this won't be a happy ride on the carnival. While Cassandra's (who apparently is a greek mythological character gifted with seeing the future) early predictions that came true on Monty, Gadget and Dale aren't that interesting, the atmosphere got really dark and mysterious when everything Cassy said about Chip become reality, and the skeptical chipmunk have to face his final doom. The substory of the crook carnival operator, and his monkey Abbadabba is also well made, and a bit more realistic than the usual CDRR crime.

When the trunk falled on Chip, everyone looked devastated. That was one of the biggest moments of the entire show. The ending was very satisfying as well when Gadget hugged Chip, and the crooks got what they deserve.

Seer no Evil is an episode for both the fans of the rangers, and for casual viewers as well. My rating: 10/10moreless

    • Dale: I know! First, let us ride the cosmic jackhammer, then we'll go on the jerk 'n whirl! Chip: Sure, just as soon as my stomach gets off from that last ride!

    • Gadget: (About the rollercoaster) If they had straightened the angle out on that last curve, we'd have seen some real speed! Chip: That fake speed was plenty enough for me, Gadget!

    • Chip: I have a prediction for you. Monty: Chip? (Monty pushes the trunk reveling a hole in the floor) Chip: I predict I'm never going to a fortune teller ever again.

    • (Cassandra's prediction) Cassandra: Before the next sun rises, Chip will follow a bear with two tails, who will dance with a tiger . . . Chip: A what? With who? Cassandra: He will fall from a circle of light and only a flying horse can save him. Finally, he will walk under an elephant and the trunk will fall and . . . Rangers in unison: And . . .? And . . .? Cassandra: (pretends to cut her own throat) Then, all is darkness!
