Do you think Chobits should be aired on Adult Swim?

    As the poll says.

    There are 2 halfs on AS:

    1: The comedy half EX: Futurama, Family Guy, Robot Chicken

    2: The anime half. EX: Death Note, Inuyasha, Bleach

    So I was thinking...That Chobits would mix perfectly. Once Death Note is done...I mean once they air their final episode...Do you think it should get replaced by Chobits?

    I doubt it. Chobits has too much ecchi to air on [adult swim].

    It'd be great for some sort of Clamp show to make it to Adult Swim, but chances are really poor, especially when Tsubasa Chronicle is still vying for a spot.

    You'd think so, but no. The FCC still has to control what content airs on basic cable, and Chobits-style nudity is something they don't allow.

    It's messed up. Somehow Comedy Central airs shows with the f-word, and FX can broadcast someone having sex on Nip/Tuck.

    I would love to see 'Chobits' on Adult Swim! It would be nice to see more good shows on Cartoon Network.

    The only really obvious nudity scene was just in the first ep...wasn't the rest just Hideki being a pervert? :\

    Anyway..I hope either Tsubasa or Chobits make it to [adult swim]..but maybe I thought they would be too childish for adult swim material [since it's milder than Death Note and Bleach and such]. Most of the anime I've seen is action. Could something more along the romance line work?

    Childish? I'd hardly consider action, a particularly teen topic that just sells very well, to be any more mature. The themes of love and devotion, material appropriate for young adults, displayed through Chi's conversations with Freya, compose the brilliance of the work, even if the presentation may lack the drama of some other shows. Perhaps I have forgetten some of the items in the show by now, but I recall no particularly innapropriate nude scene. What anime shows generally do is cover up the boobs with hair. Oh, and Hideki is not a pervert! He's particularly trying not to be. Rather, he's awfully respectful of Chi's privacy, because she's only just learning.

    Action-wise, Chobits is milder, but it's not exactly childish. Childish would be like an under-developed plot or something. Adult Swim may benefit just because it'll be different from the usual action. And it also helps people understand that there's more to anime than just the fighting. Thing is that I'd forget about watching it if it ever aired on CN just because I fill my time with other things than watching tv. Soooo I guess it doesn't really matter to me whether or not they have Chobits. It would be a nice change though.

    YES it should be on there because i love chobits. they need something more better because they have a bunch of gay shows besides bleach and code geass and the other animes. they have some good shows but some stupid shows
