The judges noted the missing malted chocolate balls and that he burnt his pie crust.

The judges explained that her tortillas may have been cross-contaminated.

Chef Michael - Pain Perdu with Citrus & Chocolate Sauce
Chef Tess - Kumquat Soup with Cheddar Soil & Grasshopper Sauce
Chef Tess Middlebrook was chopped after the Dessert round.
The judges cited an Appetizer that lacked harmony and a Dessert that lacked sweetness.
Chef Michael Vignola won the $10,000 prize.
