This episode aired during Cartoon Network's brand new CHECK it era. The reason for the show to end with a 30-minute finale was because Cartoon Network Studios needed more room for more original series and cartoon creators like Regular Show without leaving the series in a cliffhanger, creator CH Greenblat ran out of ideas and actor Nicky Jones (voice of Chowder, Ceviche and Scraps) was hitting puberty and is losing his "Chowder" voice as he is getting older. It can be found out that Chowder's voice is slightly deepened before Greenblatt takes over the role as the voice for the Adult Chowder.
Rumors have spread that the series will be continued or a spin-off is planning due to the introduction of Scraps, but it hasen't been confirmed by CH Greenblatt yet.
20 years in the future:
1) Chowder runs the company and has his own apprentice.
2) Panini marries Chowder and has 50 babies (and has an apprentice as well)
3) Mung Daal and Truffles retire into the tropics.
4) Shnitzel marries Ms. Endive.
5) Gorgonzola runs his own company.
6) Gazpacho opened a standup comedy and friut selling store.
This is the series finale episode of Chowder.
