Christopher Closeup, the award-winning television program produced by The Christophers, has been on the air since 1952. Many famous television personalities have appeared on the show over the years. The first host was Catholic Maryknoll priest Father James Keller, the man who founded The Christophers in 1945. This public affairs interview program introduces viewers to people who are making a difference in the fields of social justice, religion, entertainment, communications and in their own community. Christopher Closeup airs on both commercial and cable stations across the United States. The series also airs in 166 countries around the world via The Armed Forces Network. The Christophers' daily radio message, Christopher Minutes, is carried on over 400 stations across America and in many foreign countries in Spanish as well as English.
