      • Chuck calls Morgan "Gollum." He is referencing a character from The Lord of the Rings who was originally Sméagol until the ring destroyed his true personality and changed him into an evil creature. Chuck is saying that having the Intersect is doing the same thing to Morgan.

      • The scene where Morgan dodges the tranquilizer darts is an homage to a well-known scene from the 1999 film The Matrix that features Neo (played by Keanu Reeves) dodging bullets in a similar manner.
