Of all people, Gertrude Verbanski becomes the first client of Carmichael Industries. The C.A.R.E. (Clandestine Agents Relating Emotionally) mission statement really grabbed her. The chemistry between her and Casey during the meeting is quite palpable.
Meanwhile, Sarah keeps dropping hints that she's pregnant and Chuck, wrapped up in work, doesn't catch one of them. And then it ends up being a moot point, when she finds out that she isn't actually pregnant. But the couple do discuss future plans for a family.
Gertrude's mission is to get help with an arms deal in Miami. She bungles her end of things and ends up being held hostage for 10 million dollars. While in captivity, Casey finally expresses his feelings for her. Shortly thereafter, the team rescues her.
Over at the Buy More, Jeff starts to become suspicious that something fishy is going on. He shares his whole mapped out conspiracy theory that Chuck, et al are spies with Lester. His guesses are eerily right on target. Morgan puts them off by suggesting it's Captain Awesome who is the spy. So Jeff and Lester follow Awesome around for a day. Awesome knows they're tailing him, so he purposefully acts suspicious. Jeff and Lester speculate that Awesome is arranging to buy a nuclear bomb. When they find out that it's actually a dumb bell weight for work outs, they throw one at the brick wall in the basement – which pops right through the thin façade and exposes all of castle.
Morgan immediately shoots both of them with tranquilizer darts. What will the team do with them next?
