The security operator brings up a reference from a past episode involving Chuck kissing Casey. This happened in episode 2x06, "Chuck Versus the Ex".
When Devon "Captain Awesome" Christian Woodcomb is discussing Doctors Without Borders with Ellie and Morgan, he twice uses the French name for the organization: Médecins Sans Frontières. However, he pronounces the phrase as though it was Spanish. Most of the vowel sounds in the phrase are pronounced incorrectly, most obvious is the last "e" in "Frontières", which in proper French should not be pronounced as an "e", rather its presence indicates only that the "r" should be pronounced (rather than silent as most final "r"'s are in French). In Spanish, however, all vowels in words are always pronounced. Evidently, Devon speaks Spanish but not French.
Featured Music:
"You Know You Want It" by Green Go (Chuck versus the hallway)
"Black & Blue" by The Maids Of Honor (Chuck versus the Ring members)
"Swim Until You Can't See Land" by Frightened Rabbit (Closing scenes)
Ellie's address is listed as:
Dr. Eleanor Bartowski, M.D.
1836 Franklin Street
Los Angeles, CA 90026
The number of the box Casey opens is 092407. Chuck's series premiere was on 09/24/07.
General Beckman reveals that Casey's real name is "Alex Coburn". This is the name Chuck flashed on in "Chuck Verses the Fake Name", but Casey's face above the name "Alexander Coburn" was blackened out in his flash.
Sarah: I thought you have changed.
Chuck: What do you mean?
Sarah: Look, I know that you wanna be the perfect spy and I know what it means to you and what you sacrificed to get there. But, please don't lose that guy that I met three years ago. Don't give up on the things that make you great.
Chuck: I'll always be that guy.
Bad Guy: (knocking on door) Gas company, Mrs. McQ
Chuck: (hiding) I'm the gas company!
(Chuck & Morgan watching Morgan's stakeout video)
Morgan: Twenty-one hundred & forty-three pm. There's a chill in the air & a hint of vanilla.
Chuck: (Watching Morgan's recording and hearing a static sound) Is that static?
Morgan: Carrots, actually.
(Chuck stares at him)
Morgan: Well, I'm sorry, I get hungry on a stakeout.
