  • Season 3 Episode 11: Chuck Versus the Final Exam

  • During the stakeout, Chuck provides sizzling shrimp and plays the song "Private Eyes" from Hall and Oates. Both Chuck and Sarah mention that these were elements from their very first stakeout together, which was in episode 1x05, "Chuck Versus the Sizzling Shrimp".

  • Featured Music:
"Private Eyes" by Hall and Oates (Chuck prepares the stakeout)
"Permalight" by Rogue Wave (Chuck meets Sarah at the Orange Orange)
"In My Sleep" by Austin Hartley-Leonard feat. Kendall Jane Meade (Chuck meets Sarah for dinner)

  • At the end of the episode, various items in Chuck's apartment have been painted red -- likely Sarah's reaction to Chuck's "red test".

  • Season 3 Episode 10: Chuck Versus the Tic Tac

  • The security operator brings up a reference from a past episode involving Chuck kissing Casey. This happened in episode 2x06, "Chuck Versus the Ex".

  • When Devon "Captain Awesome" Christian Woodcomb is discussing Doctors Without Borders with Ellie and Morgan, he twice uses the French name for the organization: Médecins Sans Frontières. However, he pronounces the phrase as though it was Spanish. Most of the vowel sounds in the phrase are pronounced incorrectly, most obvious is the last "e" in "Frontières", which in proper French should not be pronounced as an "e", rather its presence indicates only that the "r" should be pronounced (rather than silent as most final "r"'s are in French). In Spanish, however, all vowels in words are always pronounced. Evidently, Devon speaks Spanish but not French.

  • Featured Music:
"You Know You Want It" by Green Go (Chuck versus the hallway)
"Black & Blue" by The Maids Of Honor (Chuck versus the Ring members)
"Swim Until You Can't See Land" by Frightened Rabbit (Closing scenes)

  • Ellie's address is listed as:
    Dr. Eleanor Bartowski, M.D.
    1836 Franklin Street
    Los Angeles, CA 90026

  • The number of the box Casey opens is 092407. Chuck's series premiere was on 09/24/07.

  • General Beckman reveals that Casey's real name is "Alex Coburn". This is the name Chuck flashed on in "Chuck Verses the Fake Name", but Casey's face above the name "Alexander Coburn" was blackened out in his flash.

  • Season 3 Episode 9: Chuck Versus the Beard

  • In this episode Morgan finally learns the truth about Chuck.

  • As nice as the scene was between Morgan and Chuck, there is a goof. Chuck is playing Duck Hunt and shows off his super skills to kill all the ducks. However, it actually could not have happened. The Nintendo zapper only works on CRT TVs (ie: tube tvs) and will not work on the LCD/LED TV Chuck seems to be aiming at. Also, the dog in Duck Hunt only giggles when you miss, not when you kill them all.

  • According to Casey's text, this episode took place Feb. 22, 2009, and 9:35 PM is day time at a place within driving distance from Burbank.

  • Featured Music:
"Bululu" by Jesus Alejandro El Nino (Ellie and Devon on vacation)
"On Sale Now" by Daniel May (Chuck is paged)
"Dancing With Myself" by Billy Idol (Chuck tries to flash)
"Arroz Con Pollo" by The Latin Mambo Orchestra feat. Martin Padilla (Chuck's communicator)
"Fortunate Son" originally by Credence Clearwater Revival (Jeffster! performs)
"Bedside Manner" by Dawes (Closing scenes)

  • Morgan is trying to emulate Big Mike. Instead of a marlin, Morgan has a Billy Bass on the wall.

  • Season 3 Episode 8: Chuck Versus the Fake Name

  • Featured Music:
"Faces In The Dark" by The Generationals (Opening scenes)
"Investigation Of A Citizen Above Suspicion" by Ennio Morricone (Chuck meets the mobsters)
"A Sleep Be Told" by The Traditionalist (Dinner preparation)
"Living a Lie" by Daniel Zott (Closing scenes)

  • Sarah reveals her real name to be Sam. And as it is known from "Chuck Versus the Wookiee, her middle name is Lisa".

  • Season 3 Episode 7: Chuck Versus the Mask

  • Out of character: Before Sarah and Shaw go to the museum, he wants to make sure that they are in agreement of what their cover story is. From the way Sarah reacts, it is as if she has never before been asked to decide a cover story. It was probably written that way to show her discomfort with Shaw, but I find it unsuccessful at doing so, and instead it makes Sarah look like a rookie.

  • Featured Music:
"Let's All Die" by Jack Penate (Opening scenes)
"Can't Stop Feeling" by Franz Ferdinand (Mission preparation)
"Astair" by Matt Costa (Closing scenes)

  • Season 3 Episode 6: Chuck Versus the Nacho Sa...

  • Morgan and Hannah talk of their love for the "French New-Wave" film, Sans Respirer. The title translates to "Without Breath" or "Breathless". Breathless is the British/American title of a 1959 French New Wave film (and of its 1983 American remake). However, the French title of that film is actually À bout de souffle (literally, "Out of Breath"). The cast listed on the poster is also different from the actual movie.

  • The three buildings standing behind the WEAP-CON warehouse aren't part of the same skyline in Dubai, the first one on the left is the Burj Al Arab hotel which is located in Jumeira (in Dubai), and the other two are the Dusit Thani hotel and Emirates National Bank of Dubai, which are a part of the Sheikh Zayed Road skyline (the one shown right at the opening shot of Dubai).
